Calculator inputs

The current DomainCalc calculators run in your browser. We do not require an account, and we do not intentionally store the values you enter on our servers. If you choose “Save to history,” a versioned result snapshot is stored in your browser's local storage. It remains on that device and browser until you delete the record, clear the history, or clear browser data.

Share links place the assumptions shown in the calculator into the URL. Anyone who receives that URL can read those values. Downloaded reports and data files are saved to your device and are under your control.

Technical information

Our hosting provider may process routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and security events to deliver and protect the website. This information may appear in limited server or security logs.

Contact form

If you contact DomainCalc, we process the name, email address, topic, and message you provide so we can receive and respond to your enquiry. Cloudflare processes the form request and security check, and our email delivery and mailbox providers process the message for delivery and storage. We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

Email reports

If you request the DomainCalc Portfolio Report, we use your email address, the calculator where you requested it, confirmation status, and subscription timestamps to deliver the checklist and monthly report. Calculator inputs and results are not attached to your subscription. You must confirm the request by email, and every report includes an unsubscribe link.

Pending requests expire after seven days. Confirmed subscription records are retained while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we retain a one-way hash in a suppression record so the address is not added again without a new request. Our email delivery provider processes messages and delivery events such as bounces and complaints.

Analytics, cookies, and advertising

DomainCalc uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and page performance. The analytics beacon may process the page path, referring website, country, browser, operating system, device type, and page-performance measurements. We also count a small fixed set of aggregate calculator events—such as opening a calculator, changing an assumption, viewing a result, selecting a scenario, or interacting with an email offer. These event counts contain only the calculator type and event name. We do not send email addresses, domain names, query strings, financial values, calculator inputs, user identifiers, or contact-form contents with these product events.

Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies, local storage, or fingerprinting for analytics and does not track individual visitors across websites. DomainCalc does not use this analytics information for advertising, remarketing, or individual profiling. Cloudflare currently retains unsampled beacon data for seven days before aggregating older information, and Web Analytics reports are available to us for the previous six months.

If DomainCalc later introduces advertising, behavioral analytics, or another consent-requiring technology, we will update this policy and add an appropriate consent mechanism before that technology is enabled where required.

We may link to third-party websites for research or practical resources. Their privacy practices are controlled by their own policies, not by DomainCalc.

Data sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Any routine technical logs retained by service providers are subject to their security and retention practices. We may disclose information if legally required or necessary to protect the website and its users.
